| Frequently Asked Questions |
Q. How long do you keep animals that come into the shelter?
A. All strays brought in are held for 72 hours in hopes of finding their rightful owners; after the 72 hours they are placed up for adoption. We do not have a set amount of days and animal can stay at the shelter. There are different factors used to determine this, behavior, health etc. |
Q. How many animals do you take in a day?
A.It varies from day to day, but on average around 100 cats and dogs enter the shelter daily. Some months are less than others, but the sheer number of animals show how vital it is that people consider adoption. |
Q.Do you try to find the animals homes?
A. Absolutely! Adoption is our ultimate goal. We post our pets on 3 different websites, we work with local and out of state rescues as well as word of mouth through employees and volunteers. |
Q. What does the cost of adoption include?
A. First vaccine and deworming, spay/ neuter voucher, collar and ID Tag.
|
Q.What is the cost of adoption?
A.Female Dogs $ 80.00
Male Dogs $70.00
Female Cats $70.00
Male Cats $ 60.00
Spayed/ Neutered $25- $35 |
