| FEBRUARY : “NO MORE UNWANTED PETS” $2.00 Raffle all month long; winners receive voucher to have pet spayed/ neutered. |
| MARCH : “PAW-A-THON” sponsored donation walk for pets. Volunteers gather sponsors to donate money for every mile walked. |
| APRIL : “SPRING CLEANING” One Sunday of month, volunteers come to help staff clean facility and pets. Begin accepting donations for yard sales. |
| MAY : “FURR REAL BIRTHDAY PAWTY” 2nd annual birthday party for the pets at the shelter. Yard sale will be going on, food stand and games; cake and goodies for pets and people. |
| JUNE : “KICK OFF TO SUMMER BARK” Party for the staff, animals and community wanting to show their love for the animals. Barbeque, games, music , and possibly more. |
| JULY : “DIRTY DOG WASH” One Saturday of the month have multiple volunteers in to bathe dogs for money. Possibly nail trimming and grooming also. |
| AUGUST : “BARK-A-THON” One weekend ( Friday thru Sunday) we will stay open from 9am to 8pm |
SEPTEMBER : “KITTY KRUNCH BAKE SALE” Baked goods for animals and people available for sale. Recipes for such goods available as well.

| OCTOBER : “HOWLIN HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST” From Oct 1st thru the 29th accept pictures and info of pets “dressed up” in their best costumes. Judging will be by customers as well as staff. Winner announced Halloween day, will be posted in newsletter, at shelter and prize awarded as well. |
| NOVEMBER : “GIVE THANKS FOR PETS” rally to feed the homeless and less fortunate pets. Donations accepted, qualifying homes in need of food for animals will be distributed this month. |
| DECEMBER : “SANTA PUP AND THE KITTYDEER” Pictures taken with Santa Pup, pictures for sale with or without an ornament/ frame. Gifts of food/ toys/ treats accepted for shelter animals Christmas presents as well. |
Princess: She came to us nursing 5 puppies and once they were weaned, they were all placed for adoption. Princess was adopted first, and yes all pups have been adopted too!
